Last night Pastor Brad shared from 1 Peter 3:15, "But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect." Often times we like to play "gotcha" with people, when we argue or disagree. Is that the best way to share the gospel with those we know and care about? Is it about proving that we are right and they are wrong? I often think about bumper stickers as a drive by shooting. The van passes by, the shots are fired and the carnage is not really our responsibility, we have delivered our message. We truly do have good news and I believe we can deliver it in a better way.
